Joint Ops and Internet Connections

Is 11mb Wireless internet connection enough to play Joint Ops, the reason I ask is because if I play some servers I have red ping and if I am in another server I got green, does it deal with the distance from the server, or is it the server, I also have two comps in the house, and the second one is barly used, also my comp meets all the requirments for the game.

I play Joint Ops over 56k, and it works just fine. Try to remember that 11mb is faster than just about any internet connection, except for like a T1.

Depends if the wireless has to go to a satellite first, then it would be worce then 56k no matter if it's 11mb or 100mb.

basic you have cable service and using a (PC) wireless router to connect to the cable service right.

Computer using a wireless router >>>transmit to the>>> cable system (cable box in the home/office) to the internet.

In that case, you shouldn't have any problems, cable is plenty fast enough to play on, and 802.11B is plenty fast enough to access it through.
