ok i got a question when using paintshop pro 8 how do i take an image with a back ground and paste it on the sig with the background not there

u copy the image u paste it on psp8 and then u delete the bg urself... :?

thats what i do. But how come some times it wont paste it onto my background and how come it leave the big white box anyway to make it paste just the pic

If I get what u mean, try the following:

Delete the background so u got the pic u want, then with magic wand tool select that backgound and then select inverse and cut and paste it.
