How much Speed i need to stop lagging>

i can play some servers with a connection of 28k get a ping rate of 300-400ms thoe

also don't run anything when u play 56k is old but u can still play some games with it if u play jo or bhd its gonna be hard cuz it has to take in so much. but df2 or dflw should run fine i played df2 on 56k for a long time before i got cable. but once u go cable or dsl u don't go back.

wow 28 k. very good. i have 48 k but my ping never go down from 580 ms. Man what should i do? i wanna wanna wanna wanna play multiplayer without lagging!

Just to open this thread back up, is there any speed boosters for Windows ME on a ISDN 128K Connection because thats what i have?

It works quite well in Delta Force BHD and TS and i would say even a 64k could play id say 64k and higher from my experience of gaming......

There numerous options which could cause lag like they said

Spyware and Adware
Viruses
UnDefraged Hard Drive
Lots of BS!!!!!
Kazaa i know can
any firewalls on like chief said could be one reason some can play with them on!!!
If you dont have a good enough Video Card also it will lag!
Not enough RAM might be another option ive been known to hear!!!!
Could also be your ISP might want to check and see if there experiencing problems!!!!

The problem is, even if you have a nice fast computer without any programs/spy-ware slowing you down and a super fast connection, you will still get lag if other players have slow computers and connections.

Yea, forgot to mention thats why i dont go to SWAT anymore because this one guy didnt have enough balls to leave the server when he was causing ppl to lag bad. If you aint got enough balls to leave the server then you mise awell not even try to associate and have friends or even have games till you fix it like how i have to quit in Joint Ops i wanna play it so bad but i cant yet!!!!!!!!
