How much speed i need to stop lagging. Please help me!

what type of connection you have? to the internet.

if you have a firewall block some programs from connecting to the internet that is not needed, sample for me; tv-card-blocked, MS-word.....ect

firewall, anti-virus programs.....should never be blocked at all always enable do to they need to check for updates same for windows update.

so in a way cut down what is taken bandwith up, more you free up less lag you get.

trouble with some people they download same time they try to play a game doing so make a player lag too much, same for any update a program trying to download updates.

check for spyware,ads-ware not bad do scan for trojan-horse too.

a 128k connection should be fine, but generally anything above 56k

depends where you live also. The city i live in has about 35-40 thousands ppl that live here. ANd we have crappy connections even with high speed connections.

hmmmmmmmm, If my download transfer rate reaches above 12 or 15 kb. Will that speed stop lagging???

run ad-aware or something like that to get rid of spyware. THat might be the reason ur lagging also

my dial up is 56k but ISP sucks! Are'nt there any internet Speed Boosters!!!!

hmmmmmmmm well there is a booster name Active Speed from www.ascentive.com please check that software. I dont have a master card to register so i cant do anything!!

Why don't you just get a faster connection instead of spending money on a speed booster that will make your connection 2.0 kb's faster? If you look at it, most Cable or ADSL connections aren't alot of money.

Just stop dealing with 56k, its slow, ugly, and stupid. Cable or ADSL can be your best friend.

lol, yes there 64kb cable connection. I live in a small city of pakistan. ISP sucks there. Help me guys. Well i downloaded the software when i regestered! but i have lost my password!!!. And i cant find the page to change password .
It needs username and password to work.
