Funnest thing I have learned how to do was to resize an NTFS partition

Because of my copy of XP supports a maximum of 137gb harddrive (you have to instal sp2 to get support for > 137gb partitions) I had to partition my 250gb to 137gb. After installing windows, installing sp2, making sure the registry setting was correct I booted into my knoppix Live CD.

Ran the partitioning software, resized my 137 to 240+gb. Booted into windows and Poof - I now have a harddrive with 240+gb and I didn't loose any data in the process

My favorite program is emerge from gentoo linux.

I like that it's very fast and stable. But I have never had the opportunity to run a Linux box at home as I've never had the hardware requirements. I did however use ssh for a few years using the command line but that was not as fun as I like to see what’s going on. My fav command was ls for some reason. every time i entered cd dir i typed ls (sometimes multiple times ) no matter what I was going for. Dunno why

Yeah Yum is a great time saver!

I like its stability and how it handles the resources its given in a good way and the security and the server enviroment, windows can run server, linux is made to run servers!
