Linksys Router Problem (not the ports)

I know there are dozens of topics on this router, and iv waded through them for the past three hours or so, but none of them have helped me. Iv changed the ports, checked the static IP, turned off the firewall, enabled DMZ, done the port triggering. I have no idea what else to try. That's all that I could find on the subject.

The problem is that when I host no one can join my server in DF2. Everyone who has tried just gets a blank frozen screen. The server shows in the DF2 Lobby and the DFFavs lobby. When I try to click on my server in the DFFavs lobby it asks me to type in the name of the server.

I have a Linksys Wireless G Broadband Router v 1.0. I have another computer with a wireless adapter running to it, but the computer I want to host on is hardwired to the router with cat5.

If anyone at all can give me something that will fix this I would really, really appreciate it.

just to check - ppl can join when your comp is connected directly to the internet i.e. without the router.
