It does'nt need the CD to play.

Thats why you have to have a dfx account to sign into before you can play.

JOTR & DF: Xtreme don't need the Cd any more.

a hacker made a No-Cd patch for JOTR and they was stealing Key codes from players.

if you find one for DF: Xtreme report it to: support@novalogic.com

if you looking for DF: Xtreme Lan patch give up no one will have it at all. we don't believe in pirating software here. there a reason all must log-in even LAN for the game to many have ripoff the game doing it.
