it a good id to check updates on Hardware

Mother broad may have update.

you will need to know what brand and model you mother broad is to look up these updates.

Mother Broad MFG:_______________
Model No:_______________________

here a sample My:

Mother Broad MFG: Intel
Model No: D945Gnt (D945 Family)
New Bois updates release yes 1/2007
New Chipset update release Yes 1/2007
New Audeo update release Yes 1/2007
New Lan update release Yes 1/2007

My MOB Link: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/scri...5&submit=Go%21
===========================================
these updates cover all OS even Windows Avast

then you lookup any software/drivers in the download area MOB MFG site.

if you got your's from Dell, Gateway or some other Computer MFG they ether force you to buy a new system totally most case they will have updates for it, but if the system is like 2-3yrs old they don't do a thing for it. there that catch 102 after a time they no longer care service ended.

you buy your computer system totally best keep the paper work on it! (never trash it) so you know what type of things you can look up for it totally.

only update your MOB if it needs it other wise leave it to a tech support see it frst hand to know what you need. this is only if your not 100% knowing what your system needs updates not a great thing to miss with the bois you instill the worng one you can burnup it real fast.

some of my updates are small in file size, but my LAN update now that is something big like 88Mb insize.

they have a video update but i don't need that reason i have a Video card instill and using.

basic check around every 6-8 Month check for your system for updates on hardware.

*Windows update "Must"
*Mother broad MFG Model Number:
*Bois Updates: flash drivers
*Audio Drivers/software updates
*Chipset CPU
*Raid Flash drivers update, if your using Raid, other wise don't instill it.
*Video Card MFG (Graphic) Software/Driver Model/part No# or Stock#

Some times good to check for flash Drivers for you DVD/CD Writer for newer Flash drivers, if your having trouble with the item. if no trouble no real need to check for them updates. good sample say you been uising a older windows OS system and upgrade to a newer Windows System but, it can't tell or see your DVD/CD drive check for a newer Flash driver for it, basic you put it on a floppy then keep it in the floppy drive (A: ) restart your system it will go throu the steps to update the DVD/CD drive, you follow the steps it walk you through

go to the DVD/CD Drive MFG site and lookup your model you got and check for newer Flash Drive for your unite.

reason some times updating your bois and chipset will tell how to handle new version of Hardware how to handle them types PCIe, PCI, COM,...ect

if you got a new totally Computer system totally new! best check all updates from the MFG and Windows this way help to clear error and make the system run better.
