everytime i try to download a movie from any website, doesnt matter what site i try to download from, it will start to download but will stop at 49k downloaded, it will surf and i can update my antivirus and other things but when i try to download a movie it will just stop at 49k downloaded.

i have dumped everything ,defraged everything but still get the same thing.

please help.

someone got a case of blueballs or something? not sure why they don't play .. all i know is if the video on my computer is playing in wmp format, it wont play .. and i have no idea why

Hmm... on some sites if your connection is really slow and you're downloading, it'll stop halfway through and say ''Download Complete''...

Are you sure your modem is going at its actual speed?

no, lol it is a 56k USR data/fax modem but the retarded bellsouth isp o got has it limited to 26k, i have done told them to fix it and replace the circuit but they leep giving me the runaround, im saving everything gaining evidense.

but every sinse the companys main office went to india the service has gone down hill, ya ask them to help ya theyll transferr ya to another department and then another and then theyll put ya on hold and ya get disconected, or if ya e-mail them thell send ya a automatic response and ya never hear anything else from them.
