I Have A Problem Updating

I've been playing for about 4 years and i unstalled my game for about 6 months and every time i try to update it says this
"Resource file (DFLW.PFF) could not be located. Aborting."
Please tell me what im doing wrong.

I had that same problem. You need to make sure that you are getting the right update. There are a few for LW. make sure u get the right version of the update that matches the version of your game.

It says the name of the file is Update-[1].42 is that right for V1.00.42?

Right now i have V1.00.31 but i want .42 is that the right program

don't run the patch in the game folder :O
run it on your desktop or somewhere

Here is what I would do:

Completly uninstall the game + delete the LW folder.. reinstall (Full install) download the update from dfhq.net and then install it... dont use the no cd patch or anything..

BHD & TS they already have the new Ibrowse.dll included in the new update for the game. the Ibrowse.dll made up before the newer update came out for BHD/TS was update.
