JOTR I need a CD key #

Hi, I just purchased jotr from fry's electronics and did not receive the manual or the CD key #'s. is there anyone that can help me with this dilema.

Was your JO copy fresh from the shelf? Someone could have easily bought it, stole the key and the manaul, and chucked it back in the store for a refund.

Also, why don't you contact the store to ask them why you didn't have a key? Or you can contact NovaLogic about this.

the Cd Key should be on the back of the Cd case lead open it up and look at the front cover you should see it there.

its not like the old days were the cd key be on the manul ok

you should see the Cd on the cover underside you should see it there.

don't know about fry's electronics you may have to call them up get the askers from them for the Cd-Keycode

the cd case was in a sealed wrapper in the clearance pile and on the outside of the case had fry's electronics logo stating what was inside the black case.JOTR appears to be brand new in the blank box.If all else fails I can still make a cool looking clock out of the CD. Oh,does anybody have the CEO's home phone # too?

you would have to call fry's electronics about the Cd Keycode it was them who sold it to you.

don't think Novalogic, inc can help you in this at all.

the game do not come in a blank case fry's electronics must have replace the Cd case all i can say about it.

tell them about your trouble and all so tell them who sold it to you.

they may ask for the Cd Serial number off the Cd inner ring you can read it. it located underside of the Cd.

9 outa10 they may ask you to send it to them to replace to get a Cd with a Keycode no freebee S/h plus maybe charge of USD-7.00 too

take it back, get a refund and go somewhere else to buy it...

nova should be able to give you a cd key... as chief said by supplying them a number and photographic proof (i had to do that with EA)

It was shrink wrapped and resold as stated above. Most stores take refunded items and reseal them in shrink wrap and sell them as "clearance" or "on sale" items. Best bet is to take it back to the store and ask for a fresh copy straight from the box. After you purchase it, open it in the store and check to make sure the manual and CD Key are included inside.

Most store's like Fry's Electronics, EB Games, Gamestop, etc. are good for doing this. They usually are in big bins or metal grated bins. Try not to buy from those if you know the game needs a CD Key.

most places dont let you return pc software unless its been unopened.

Frys i believe does not allow refunds for open software, and if they refuse to replace it Nova has it for sale on their site so you could keep the CD for a backup.

check consumer laws, if they sell a incompolete product chance are thay have to give you a refund, I know here in aus its like that, the consumer law says it the shops responsibility to provide a complete product, if soethig isnt right, the customer goes to where they purcahsed it from..
