You need to start working on your text and filtering.

What program are you using? I mean if you read tutorials you would greatly improve, and at a faster rate.

SHocking is my favorite. BEcause you did a good job on it, just the overal lighting was way to harsh.

i think #2 and #3 are sweet, like that style actually. some new fonts might serve you well.

Contrary to popular belief, you should not be able to tell what filter was used if any were actually used. And only minimal filters are actually needed, such as the various blurs and sharpening settings. Going filter crazy will only result in a messy blob of things that don't blend well. Work on using multiple layers with only a few features and textures at a time while experimenting with blending modes until you achieve a satisfying result.

Also, try playing around with brush settings. There's a limitless amount of settings for any brush that can create rather unique textures...that's how I made most of the brushes on my DeviantArt.
