If you know C++ you can do pretty much anything... although C++ or any microsoft programming tool suck up memory like Brawny towels... Java is more conservative when it comes to memory access and reservation....... Jargon jargon.... << for discussion matters!.... lol

But do you know C++? And if so, would you like to help out?

Going to school for it now!.... I'm just beginning to see the light!..... So far out of VB, C ++, and Java, I think C++ is the best... I can't help much but will tune in and help if I can!...

It is programming, but in a way not, it can be discribed as both, both are as correct or as incorrect.

It isn't in the sence that it doesn't require a compiler but it is in the sence that it does have code that allows if and while and arrays....Java same way I guess.

Are you working with C++ or VB, you looping conditions in the function or you just If/ ending something? Also are you cloning or calling on other classes?

Thats cool I like C++ better than VB.... VB was pretty easy compared to C but like I was saying going to school for it, we just went through struc, heap, inheritance, and other stuff... think its all great code so far!...

Actually, Java does require a compiler. It is a real programming language, but a rather odd one, because it is based on a server, for the most part, and it has to be both compiled and interpreted.

Silent Drop, I'll ask Steve to give you access to the forum so you can watch what's happening if you want, and maybe help if you can.

If you weren' reading a book that had lots of unrelated details, it probably wasn't in there. While it is interesting to know that Java is both compiled and assembled, in no way will knowing that make you a better Java programmer.
