BHD installation Problem

I used to run BHD fine, but then i was forced to format my computer, now when i try and install it i get "an error occured during the move data process -2147024873" but i am the system admin and its a real copy of the disk not an illegal one (just incase it makes a difference), i have no idea what to do and really need some help. thanks in advance guys

seems to be a fairly common error, unfortunately everyone who has had the issue has never posted back saying if they have fixed it or not :/

the CD has no scratches or marks on it?

as far as i know basically your PC cant copy the file it needs from the CD, so it's either having issues reading the CD, or it's actually trying to replace a file already on your system that is either currently in use or you dont have the right permission to overwrite the file.



i'd give the cd a good clean, and shut down as many apps as possible including anti virus tools, delete all your temp files (maybe use ccleaner http://ccleaner.com/ to clean any temp files and bad/redundant files) and try again.

thanks a lot i'll give it all a try, but yer thye cd seems to be scratch free... ill give it a good clean anyway

does it say it's a CRC error? that's all i can dig up, meaning the cd is probably dead :/ maybe you know someone with a diskdoctor or something?

BHD is cheap to buy these days :/
