Location Based Sounds.

Hey Everyone!

Does anyone know anything about location based sounds?

I have audio I want to play in a market place. I am making two large towns on the Twin Island terrain map. Loading the places up with civilians. Trying to make a really cool town. I have audio I made of crowds talking/peoples having conversations/music from bars/ taxi cab honks. All that stuff.

Question:
How do I loop a sound and apply it to a location? The game already has these sounds for the environment. Bugs etc.

There are embeded sounds set by music vars #3 and #4 in the area triggers but I can't tell you the settings off hand but try this - In general Information set Global effects music 80 and try var#3 in the area trigger and any number between 10 and 20

In the mean time try making a 2d or 3d area trigger and (set a variable - optional) to trigger the wave.

if ssnarea player,1 then
wave "yourwave.wav"
endif

There are others here who know this better than I as I don't usually use music unless it's for a vid

Also once again go to http://stompem-web.enjin.com/assembler

Here's an old demo map of mine with a custom wave file triggered by the WAC and running looped.
