Bill Gates LEAVES Microsoft!?!
http://www.newsweek.com/id/142672/page/1
oversimplified, he has all the money in the world pretty much. So hes decided to put someone else in command and he is going into philanthropy, which is helping out humanity, such as the fight against AIDS and Malaria. Hes leaving Microsoft right before they get a lot of hard work on their schedule, I hope they can make it through just fine without him. in fact, I hope the next windows is a gift from god, because now that he left, I don't want everything to go downhill and maybe have to switch to macs, who's advertising is directly based on attacking PCs. That's a selfish thing to do, shame on macs. |

Thats not new news, hes been leaving for a long time now. I too am worried that Microsoft will take the wrong direction without the super nerd running the company. I'm not really fond of his successor, Steve Ballmer.

Lol, I really wonder how much of a say he had in most things.
He was just the one in the spotlight when some of the new products were launched.

My friend got pulled over....supposedly he had a ticket in some area that they said wasn`t paid (he HAD already paid it) and they held him over night. I don`t think they even let him call home. Then they released him when they found out he had already paid the fine.

well there is 2 terms they use being detained and then being arested, both are the same, what they wont tell ya is if you are pulled over you are already under arest the way they got it set up, but they dont admit that you are being arested but say you are being detained meaning that thay dont have to read the rights to ya, and ya dont get the privalages that ya would normaly if had.
if ya are detained for more than 48 hours, have some1 to submit a writ of habeas corpus. Also known as "The Great Writ," a writ of habeas corpus ad subjiciendum is a summons with the force of a court order addressed to the custodian (such as a prison official) demanding that a prisoner be brought before the court, together with proof of authority, allowing the court to determine whether that custodian has lawful authority to hold that person, or, if not, the person should be released from custody. The prisoner, or another person on their behalf (for example, where the prisoner is being held incommunicado), may petition the court or an individual judge for a writ of habeas corpus. but they are well on their way to making habeas corpus obsoleate, if you are detained for teorrorist acts or suspicion of terrorism habeas corpus doesnt apply under the exec orders bush has signed, and they are trying to get anything unlawful that you do to be declaried as domestic terrorism. |

ntm state laws...people think only about the national constitution but state laws have much more of an impact on you. The national constitution only provides basic rights...most of it is about governmental ogranization.

its chains upon the government to prevent them from getting to large and devoring the people, and the constitution and bill of rights grant you nothing, you already have these rights, the constitution is there to prevent them from taking these rights.
only problem is we got more laws a regulations and such than we did during king Georges rule, thru exec orders and amending and other processes they have bypassed parts of the constitution. |
