Seen the orginal well like most old films they've remade it.. this looks extremely good

i can remember the original making no sense whatsoever

i take it the new one's storyline is different? cause i know exactly what is happening from the trailer. but i dont remember it being liek that in the orig

Steve it was a simple and very funny tale of a soon to be shut down police station that was attacked because of a police massacre of a number of gang members.

This resulted in all the gangs of all races uniting against Precint 13 and the prisoners who just happened to be there because one of them was ill.

The gangs had a deadly code known as the "cholen" which meant they didn't care if they died taking out the Precint and all those in it including the man who's little girl they murdered randomly when they began their "war"

Great movie with and unknown cast and Mr Wilson was my favourite, so cool, so lethal, waht a bad ass lol lol!!!!

John Carpenter was on eof the best movie makers of the late seventies/early eighties but sadly lost his way with the dreadful Ghost's of Mars.
