my aunt has insurance in spades and she got to dish-out 4.500.00 to have her old caps replace. they are falling off after 25yrs now and have them teeth clean and remove the old gunk that had Mercury as Will before they place in new caps in. the Mercury was part of the filling to clue the caps on should see her gums not in good shape, the roots almost showing and there a gray line at the base of her teeth from it. all started when three of the caps came off she gone in to have them replace, they said she need all replace and remove the Mercury totally, it not safe with it in.

A few years ago, I have not ever had a hole or anything such (knock wood!)
It's just to expensive for a student to see the dentist in Sweden (medical on the other hand only cost $12, doesn't matter if you scraped your hand or if you have cancer and need an opersion, wish the same was true about dental ) |

Seriously, whenever dentists clean my teeth, it looks the same. My teeth are literally all yellow - and they've been like that for years. It's like yellow's been engraved on them... Oh well, at least I still clean my teeth.

dentistry in the UK is a joke.
we have the National Health Service (HNS) which is free and paid for by taxes (one of the reasons why immigrants like the UK, but i wont go there). however a couple of years ago the NHS started charging for dentist checkups, so a checkup on the 'free' service costs £15 if i recall correctly = ~ $30 USD. any treatment will cost ~£45 or £190 depending on severity each dentist has a certain number of credits allocated to it by the government per year where they can use NHS funding. so if a dentist works hard then they might run out of credits after 6 months for example and cannot see any more HNS patients ofr the rest of the year!! because it's a total farce, a heck of a lot of dentists have dumped NHS patients (practically the whole of the UK), and have gone private meaning they charge more and dont have any hassle regarding the HNS and it's funding etc. because there is fewer and fewer NHS dentists every week, and a lot of ppl can't afford private dentists, then a lot of people dont have a dentist at all, or travel hundreds of miles every 6 months just beacause it's the only dentist they can get registered with. please someone correct me if i'm wrong |

I brush three times - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Two times is good enough, but mum makes me do it three times.
