Good Dedicated server host?

good dedicated server host? i'm probaly getting $55.00 plan with cpanel/whm and directadmin ... intel

what game you gonna host on it?

Joint Ops? make sure the OS is windows...there isnt a linux server for JO...

i use HYPERNIA for my servers and have been very happy with them thus far...though i pay 150 a month i can run 1 to 5 servers on 1 PC and have no problems with lag or gameplay...

right now i have it set-up with 4 servers:
Raven Shield
Raven Shield: Athena Sword
Battlefeild: Vietnam
Star Wars: Battlefront

Server Status on left side block

but i can put up a ghost recon and joint ops server with no problem

the package came with a remote connection tool that is he best ive seen..i connect drectly tot he PC server and its using windows and i can download, edit, install mods, maps, or anthing just like my home PCs

well 1 reason i dont run JO is it crashes all the time...even if its the only server running...

i use servermatrix, who own there own datacenters, www.servermatrix.com ive had 100% uptime. they are not managed servers though so you will need to know how to do everything yourself

lol sry i shoulda been more descriptive...this is for webhosting . lol .. i may host a game on it later in life but probaly not

Why do you need a dedicated host? Just wondering?

excuse me, but how do you afford these? You must be prettey dedicated to something if your going to bother paying for it. but i guess thats just me talking.

With the dedicated server, he can set up webhosting services, and if he charges for his webhosting, he could easily get more then what it costs to rent the server per month.

All he would have to do is pick up some clients.


Plus, with the dedicated server, all the available system resources can be used for his site (and his clients) where as with the normal webhosting services (such as brinkster.com) you may be sharing the computer with several other websites.

This is based on my understanding of what Dedicated Server means, if I'm wrong, please correct me

our squad plays different games...call of duty, raven shield, battlefield vietnam, star wars galaxies, star wars battlefront, and jiont ops...to do this we use the donations we get to run our dedicated game servers - $150 a month

If you want to do it leagaly, be sure to check that they allow this reselling. Might need to get a reseller option for that. But i didnt read the description so i dont know.
