NO CD PATCH

I have tried no cd patch for latest version....i have bought BHD the day before so i don't know if it's my fault(my pc fault) or u guys have to fix it....btw after few minutes i play BHD..it stuck itself and all turn out to a "MUST-REBOOT"....I saw in Homepage i have to post in case of problem and here it is
P.S.
I need patch cause i hav bought BHD with a friend of mine...due to the price( 50€ = 50$ ).if u can help me i 'l be very gratefull.

Also you are effectivley advocating the use of the NoCD as warez in this forum.
Where I dont think many people could look others in the eye and say for sure they have never acted in this way, it is not forum policy to allow people to actually say it out loud, given that it is in fact illegal.

plus...why did u write in HomePege to tell ya if there's any problem about patch of latest version.....
I don't think to have done something so illegal...i haven't clone that cd....i hven't copy that i 've just bought with a frined cuz is less expencive....

Correct me if I'm wrong someone, but when you buy a game you are actually buying one license to play a game, in much the same way as when you buy Windows, you are entitled to install and run the game on one PC with that given CD-Key.
If you have two PC's with one copy of Windows, then you should legally buy an additional licesnse for the other PC so you can install and use the operating system.
By installing this game onto two PC's, which is what I assume you mean when you talk about your friend, is in fact illegal.
As there is no such thing as "buying a license" in gaming terms, you should really buy another copy.

I own the half part of the game...he(my m8) does too.
if i buy windows and i want to install in 2 Pc the only thing i have to do is install it in the second pc with the same CDKey cause i OWN the 2 pc....and i have PAID for windows and Its CDkey....In the same way if 2 ppl buy a thing they can use it by making a convention of who take the cd...
BTW what is the proper use of NOCD patch?
and why i have that poroblem?

The 'proper' use is to save your CD from wear and tear.
Also it loads quickly if it doesnt have to check the disk. Map Makers use this facility a lot because it makes things simpler.

What I am saying is that do what you will with the NoCD just dont broadcast it out loud.
Im not going to confirm or deny that I have used the NoCD for this purpose. The point is actually writing it down and admitting it could get the guy that runs this site into some trouble, if novalogic wished to get arsey about it.


Technical Problem.
Get hold of the disk and uninstall Black Hawk Down.
Install it again and use the in-game update to make sure you have the latest version.
Try playing the game.
If this works then add the NoCD.
If this then crashes your machine then it could well be the NoCD which is crashing your game.
I dont think it is though.

Here is a checklist.

1)Uninstall and reinstall the game.
2)Make sure you have the LATEST version by using the GameUpdate which is in the main menu of the game.
3)Play it and see if it works.

If it doesnt then come back and try to explain why not.

One last thing. Most programs that are downloaded here are not produced by anyone that makes the website, so to get technical help you have to make sure you tell us all you can.

For instance what is your PC? Do you have DirectX9.1? And so on.

Gforce3 Ti 200
SoundBlaster 5.1 DIrectX installed 9.1...ram 250 mb
This is all what u need i think...
about the check list...i have done evreything and the problem is the same...with Cd it works.
After few seconds or minutes depend on the time it stuck itself and i have to reboot....WITH THE RESET BUTTON....

Is the link for the latest version of the latest noCD.
You can also manually update from the same utilities section, one of my pals found his BHD wasn't updating to the latest version when he used the ingame update.
