Sad Sad loss of Ronnie Barker

I was very sad to hear of the death of well known British comedian and character actor Ronnie Barker yesterday. For the British members of these forums I'm sure some of you will have seen such classics as "Porridge" and "Open all Hours" starring this wonderfully funny and versatile comedian.

I personally will always remember him for his mock wethear forecast which went something like this....

"In Gool it will be Cool,
In Rye it will be dry,
but if you live in Lissing Down,
you'd best take and umbrella!"

God rest your soul Ronnie

I would say the same too.
I didn't see much of one of his classics Open All Hours but at least
I got to know him and
I would like to say R.I.P. At least his other brother is alive.

He was a truly wonderful comedian Chief and a very sad loss.....
