Free--> Or cheap hosting

Hey all, My squad have been hosting there site with Tripod (free acount) for sometime. We use simple squad site, so we'll need a PHP/Mysql host.
The problems we have are these:

• Pages take sometime to load
• It gos dosen't display the page atleast 2 times a month
• 3 of our players have had a virus from the it. All trotent horses. 1 was blocked by norton from me.

Can anyone give me a link to a better free/cheap host that supports PHP/Mysql.

Yeah did you ever hear of Distant Host? They used to host people for free with 100% uptime...untill they got so sick of prono sites being made they killed it and started a paid one.

http://shieldhost.com/ - nice cheap hosting.... great for anything. You have to register the domain yourself though but that is easy.

a plan that's cheaper than $10 is not something you should go with. again assuming it's not your friend hooking you up

I went with my host because it is the same people that hosted my site for free and they have great tech support I am a mod on their forum too that is what Complete-Support is.

www.whm-host.com has free hosting packages that include one DB support for php and some other things......worth a check. also their paid packages are relatively cheap. i have had some problems initially with their servers going down and whatnot but that does seem to be fixed now.
