is the unoffical worth trying ,or is it better to wait for the offical one???

well im making an ace 1 at the mo with unofficial med, but it does have a few bugs so its upto you

personally i'd wait
i was worried that people would have problems with the unofficial MED and ask questions about it here, but as far as i can tell, there are plenty maps being made and no problems.

if you do try it i would delete it before getting th eMED update from nova if/when it comes

basically if you are dying to make maps then go for it

It may not be related, but a few people are getting auto punted on certain maps.

It may be down to the map it may not, but thought I would let you know, cos if you make a map and find people suddenly start leaving after about 20 seconds, at least it will give you 1 reason as to why
