good if it save one life or 5.000ea life its great news. to me they and others need to talk to each other more.
this is the catch it has to be dealing with: terrorism investigations under Patriot Act revisions approved Tuesday by the Senate Intelligence Committee. it mean any other investigations they need a judge to ok it. if the investigations is a terrorism subject then there no holding back for them the door is wide open. they don't need a judge ok.

Our "FBI" also got more authority now, or aleast there are talks of increasing their right to liten in on phones, sms, email etc
They are called SÄPO (damn i hate that name) Säkerhetspolisen (sounds way better, even slightly cool and is what SÄPO is a short of) Bad translation would be "Securitypolice" |

Its a great Ideal in theory. But the one thing we have learned from history is that the more power you give some one (or government) the greater chance of them abusing it. And that is really scary.
Yes its great tool for cathing terrorist. But whats to stop the FBI from labeling some one as a suspected terrorist. This is america, where people can speak their minds and beliefs. With this new admendment of power the Government can abuse this power to quite people up just because they don't like what they are hearing. If you don't believe this can happen, look in our not too distant past where during the cold war, we were conducting witch hunts for russian spys among our hollwood elites and ruining lives because of politicians abusing powers. So please keep that in mind before hooting and hollering that the FBI has more power. Before any one tries to jump all over me. I served 4 years in the US Navy during desert sheild and storm, and I served Proudly.

i hope it works, i don't really think the FBI would abuse or mistreat the power, and i think that it has the possiblity to stop terrorism and save a/lots of life/lives
