I thought I'd post some flanking and attacks patterns.

These could be useful, I've noticed in a lot of maps that the approach taken by the AI is usually head-on, even when they are coming from different angles.


BRIEF:
Most times it's best to use a flanking approach, instead of heading along the obvious Line Of Sight (LOS).

In this variant, you arc out and then back-track into your cleared zones before heading back out again, getting closer and covering at the same time.

The arcing ensures you never lose sight of the target or landmark you are approaching.
