good news is that they have taken it inhouse away from Grin ooooooooohh even if there is a slim chance they give it to Red Storm, then i'll hold on to that hehe.

that invisibility camo just throws the series out the window. If clancy is about realism then the only thing this game has in his vision is just a name. It might as well have a different name. What I liked about the first GR is the mostly non-linear maps, an RPG style character progression, and switching your perspective between soldiers. Does anyone know of any recent games that do that?

The whole idea about the GR line is they are always at the top of the technology iceberg. The military has been working on invisibility cloaks/camos for the better half of a decade now.

I wasn't aware of that, I always thought even though they were special forces they were still mostly conventional and didn't get new stuff the moment the tech comes out of beta.

The Iraqis seem to be the leaders in invisibility cloaks/camos, considering all those WMDs they managed to hide.

But the brits are catching up.

At the current day and age, any invisibility tech prototype you'll see will look similar to a bunch of shiny LCD screens all over a vehicle.
