Why can't I play online?

Ok, fixed it. There's an 'Intrusion Prevention System' in Sygate Firewall. Switched it off and the game works fine.

Bah! When I said I checked my firewall I meant I'd made sure it was allowing DFX to accept incoming and outgoing connections.
Wasn't expecting some obscure option that would work with everything but this one game!

it the way Novaworld has their servers setup, you will not have the trouble with DF:1/2/LW/TFD but DF: BHD/JOTR/Xtreme they had it setup another way. weird

hi i'm trying to play delta force xtreme online to except when i click multiplayer it says connecting to novaworld and thats it, it stay on that screen forever i dont even get a list of servers or anything, anybody have any idea why this might be happening? please help really wanna play!

your firewall is blocking it from connect to the site

firewall or router should be disable these two option in it

Disable:
*anti-port scan (over kill if enable)
*Stealth mod (over kill if enable)

set it to med range for security is best .
have it set high is a over kill block game feeds (ports).

*Update the game as will helps.
*don't use of cracks or 3rd party socall patches for the game is a dead ban on it.

i turned the firewall off and there's no differance it still doesnt connect, didnt see anything about an anti-port scan though

A lot of people here will disagree with me - no doubt, but I would use Windows Firewall if you run into trouble and can't seem to fix your firewall problem. I've got no problems with it whatsoever. You gotta have Service Pack 2 on your computer though. You can download it on the Microsoft site, or have it sent to you. Also comes with XP in the Academic Edition or whatever.

hi sorry for the late reply i been busy at work, my game is fully updated i have windows firewall and it is set to accept dfx and i dont have zone alarm running either and still nothing happens.
i dont understand why it doesnt even go to the server screen it just sits idle on the "connecting to novaworld" screen
