Why can't I play online?
Whenever I bring up the server browser in-game I can see the servers but I don't have a ping ('timeout') for any of them, nor can I connect at all. It just gets stuck on 'enumerating'. What's going on?!

And yes, I've checked my firewall etc

Would be nice if you gave specs, DFX type (FULL or DEMO), network configuration??

Full version. 4MB cable internet, going through my set-top box. Every other game I have works perfectly.

Have you tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling??


EDIT: Taking down Antivirus has also known to have solved issue for some people.

Yep ... NL side issue bud. Might try uninstalling (deleteing folders under Program Files and delete Registry Entries) then reinstalling.

Router installed? If so, port32768 needs to be opened/forwarded.

if you have not done it save your player file be listed something like this dfx.sav .it will have at the end of the file .sav look it up and move it out of the folder before you delete the game folder

after you do every thing (un-instill/delete game folder/re-instill/update) place the sav file back in. it your player save mission you played.

game folder should be located:
C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Xtreme

don't know what the players save file name be. but like i said at the every end there be .sav in it.

Windows Xp Sp2 has a build-in firewall you need to add dfx.exe to it then enable it to connect to the internet.

if you using another firewall if you have scanport or sealth option enable it will block you from novaworld servers.

can't say more about you connection you have don't know about it.
