xfires not bad, but i unistalled it because i thought there was no point on running msn & xfire at the same time Its a great tool tho, a must have i think

xfire is starting to piss me off, when i play CS:S i get lag from it, even if i do a few consol commands to help me out it still lags up

I close it, lag all gone

thats funny i have dailup i had no lag from it at all, playing DF:BHD-TS with Rogerwilco retail virsion and using Xfire IM.

best check for adware use Spybot - Search & Destroy after that use Lavasoft: Ad-Aware SE Personal. I'll bit you have a lot of adware in your system.

will with JOTR it lag a lot take a lot of the system resources out. yea you would lag even more, can't say anything about CS:S if its the same or not.

nah im not talking about net lag, CPU usage, is like 20 something % for just xfire

My one problem with xfire is that it crashes my bf1942, so I can't run xfire with bf1942.

I've heard a lot about this Xfire and as here on these boards I see a lot of mixed reaction to it so, is it actually any good?

at first it sucks when you have no one on your list. And its a great tool when your in a clan/squad cuz you can join your friends and things

dang i not part of any clan or squads and i have a lot of member on my Xfire Messager now thats is funny get more people added to it by each day.

maybe you need not to limited it. gee it only 3week old and NVIDIA has it on their site for all to get it, like AA,JOTR-Demo, DOOM3-Demo and so many of games to download its right up there with the rest of them bad boys. for all to get i don't think NVIDIA would show it on thier site if it was not good to get.

will you have the right to feel that way as for squad and clan think they are more into socall Teamspeak & ICQ then Xfire IM but it may catch-on to them soon, who knows it new on the internet, maybe like a cold you get sooner or later only its not a bad thing to have to play with others you like to play with all the time.
