help with my new graphics card plz

Graphics card is a 7950GT SLI ready PCI-E


OK So I finally got a custom system and I go to start it up it seems like it starts up fine (no windows no nothing installed) But I am getting a No signal on my monitor for some reason why is that? Because I know the graphics card is on because the fan and stuff but it just isn't sending a signal. Now maybe I am just a newb but can't you access the bios even when there is no Operation system? Also what is the P8 to the P4 cable for? Also on my power supply there is the big cable that goes into the motherboard not sure of the name but its abbreviated with EATXPOWER maybe ATX POWER and the slot is white. Now the cord takes up all but a square a 2x2 box where there is another cable (linked together with the main power cable) that is a 2x2 that fits into it, my question is does that go in or does a different cable go in?

make sure you have a power cable going into the gfx card. only one cabe will fit.

yea i figured it out i didnt have one cable that was suppose to plug into the mobo but thx anyways everything is working now
