OK I have a forum and a site (may not work - host problem :\) with music on them...I downloaded the song from a program (not sure if I can say which program cuz I dont fully understand the warez thing). Is this legal...if not let me know immediately :\

Yes, tril is right. Although, if you do get caught you are looking at a HUGE fine from the RIAA and more than likely a lawsuit. Mike will probably know what would happen more than us. Hes into all that law stuff

I aint a lawyer but i suspect that it is either illegal or grounds for civil action for multiple reasons. Probably reinforced by where you got it from (if im guessing right).

Dont do it, at the very least if the music company is anything like alot of webmasters, thery wont ask you to remove it, theyll send a nice letter of liability to the web host and get the site shut down without asking you...

ahh yes, it is certanily illeagle. Its best to make ure own music, there is some good programs out there
