BHDSM Map rotation

I want to remove to Stock maps and just play the ones that I have made specifically for the server. It won't let me delete them.

How do I edit the map rotation saved file? < better more to the point question?

BHDSM pulls the stock maps from the localres.pff file.

Only way you can get those stock maps not to show up period is to open up the pff file and either delete or change the extention on the stockmaps (ie, change the .bms into something like .dms).

To just deactivate the maps, in bhdsm under maps just un-check the box next to the maps. If you click the save button at the bottom, it will save all your settings so that you don't have to re-do it next time around

Ok What do I use or How do I open that file ?

I have tried several Word processors, and no luck locked up a couple and locked up my PC once.

I have checked the ones to play and saved a map rotation file But even whe loaded the orgiinal maps load and play on the server.

You un-check the ones you don't want played, then hit the Update button, which tells BHD the changes you made.

These two things have kept me down for 3 months now and in the matter of 3 days You have helped me where others who run servers would not. Thank You so much. I have made maps specific to my sever and tested them and made more maps. tried to get the server up and read and tried some more. Thank YOU!

All the Maps start with SO

They all have the range in the title : long rang short or middle

They also have day or night

It works out to SO-12-Long Ranger Day as an example.

That way no one gets the names confused with maps from other servers.

I made all these maps from scratch, and specifically stayed away from anything that started looking like a map from another server.



There is TS server IP: 192.168.1.101:8767 running

Like I said I have been working on this for some time now, just couldn't get those two issues resolved to get the server to Run.
