BHDSM and Pinger.

I need help setting up a server to run using BHDSM.

I have it set up but only user logged onto Novalogic can play. It shows up on pinger but will not play.



I could use a Team Technical Manager to assist with setup and testing.

This is for a Sniper only server.

all you have to do is include in either the server name or on the first line of your server welcome message your server port number.

Pinger will pull the port number from one of those 2 locations when players add your server to the favorites list.


If the port isn't specified, pinger will try to use the default port of 14749.

it recognises the 14749 in pinger but is still comming back 100% loss.

I was someone in the server today but he left before I could get to that machine.

I can not connect using pinger keeps saying 100% loss , AND I haven't used my Novalogic name or password in so long I forgot it. I have tried many times to have the recovery tool send me my info via email, but I never recieve it. I saw this in another thread.

I can server and play but at this point I am wondering If people can connect using pinger or are the few that visit using Novalogic?

Still banging my head. over 20 all original Maps made and tested, and still banging my head over details. ARG!!!!

Have you opened up any firewalls for BHD?

Pinger still works - people use it all the time, right now its the only way I can play (my novaworld account was locked down because of posting info on how to use pinger on novaworld).

If pinger is pulling the correct info from your game, and people still can't connect then it sounds like a firewall issue. Make sure you have UDP port 17479 opened up.

they cleared the ban, but restrictions are still in place.. can't login to play and I can't rename my characters.

Thank you It was my router settings not having an open port. Fixed. Thanks.

Just haven't figured out where to change my login name.

state the new name and the admin do it for you asap
