the *MaFiA*-STATS server which i run is a no skins server and requires everyone to login into nova world

this is to keep cheaters out...

requiring players to login to nova world is to make sure banned nova cheaters cant get into our public games cause they cant login...

even though i use DEM remote host this added precaution will ensure a clean server for all

i suggest all servers run like this

for no skins make a short cut of the dftfd.exe to ur desktop (if u havent already) now on ur short cut right click and select properties...now under the target box at the very end type /noskins after the " (make sure u leave a SPACE " " between the " and /

example ( "C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Task Force Dagger\DFTFD.exe" /noskins )

this will make ur game a no skins server if u start the game using the shortcut...

now the require players to login into nova world...under the host options screen 1 (the 1st screen) that box is at the bottom...make sure it says YES

my other *MaFiA* servers r following suit now and by the end of the week will be all ready to host "squeaky" clean servers

You know what i think its a realy good idea ... But.. u know what kind of problem gonna accure .. Servers will be empty most of the time cause people are just to damn lazy to hit another button or type a couple words lol...

I think the host can check the PING. If its like 200+ something is screwy!

lol stevie, yeah to me a ping of 200 is bout norm hehe , thats to our euro server

about 15 miles down the road gives me 270
hehe. but same to Wolf's server in SWE :/
its got a lot better oddly enough with the .37 patch. US servers went from 600 - 700 to about 400 - 500.
