it was just an example, of course..... no1 wants to use a brush for a vertical line, but what i mean, is to HAVE the brush rotated, not to brush, then rotate the brushstroke....

yep i did the search, but only in Novahq.net Forum > Computers & Tech Support > Sigs & Graphics > GFX Tutorials, Help and Advice > and didn't find a thing..

anyways, the article tells how to change the "degree variation percentage", there isn't any single brush angle setting....np anyway ill brush, rotate, define brush......

omfg!!!! its not possible!!!!! READ CAREFULLY PLEASE::
the fact that i say "vertical line" doesnt mean that i want to use a vertical line brush, its only a way to explain myself with a simple example, SO;

1. figure out i have a brush which is a vertical line of 5 pixels
2. when i select this brush and drag the cursor in the drawing area, my cursor itself is a vertical line of 5 pixels, i move the mouse and i see a 5 pixel long vertical line which moves on the screen, and if i paint with this i get those vertical lines in my drawing area, ok???
3. well, now suppose that i want to paint with a brush which form is a 5 pixels vertical line rotated 45 degrees clockwise;
this means:
3a. i will have my cursor with the shape of a 5 pixels vertical line rotated 45 degrees clockwise, i'll move the mouse, and on the screen i'll see a 5 pixels vertical line rotated 45 degrees clockwise moving in the drawing area
3b. when i will paint with this one i will get those pixels vertical lines rotated 45 degrees clockwise stomped in my drawing area

OK, I KNOW THAT I COULD DO IT BY STOMPING A BRUSH, ROTATING IT AND THEN DEFINING A NEW BRUSH WHICH WILL BE ROTATED AS I WANT, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS (AND IM SURE THERE IS) ANOTHER WAY TO DO THIS, SO THAT IF I HAVE TO USE THE SAME BRUSH ROTATED WITH 3 DIFFERENT ANGLES TO MAKE MY PICTURE I DON'T HAVE TO DEFINE 3 NEW BRUSHES.
is there someone so kind and SMART who did understand what im asking and knows the answer and wants to tellme???

thankyou

still cryptic now???

sounds to me that u will need to create 3 diff. brushes if u want them 45 degrees one way and then 45 degrees another way, and if its not smooth enough and has rough edges, then use a softer brush, I hope I helped a lil but the sound of this thread maybe not lol, good luck
