jets are kinda pointless IMO .. only way to get kills is in a dog fight or droping bombs on people .. and it's rare they hit anything .....

and whenver i fly theres some ass that manages to shoot me with missles while i've been in a tight ass turn and doing a bunch of crazy sh*t

helicopters are fun if you on ts wwith the pilot/gunner

Ditto. I have BF: Vietnam, and BF:2 is EXACTLY the same except a few different weapons, maps, and the annoying radio chatter has changed from "Start fightin' soldier or we're all going home in body bags" to... "Start fighting or i'll find someone who can!" . I never got the point of that.

I bought it and it's extremely worth it to me. I love the game. I think the most powerful vehicle is an attack chopper with a great pilot/gunner team. They can hop from base to base with zero resistance. The gunner takes care of badguys while the pilot keeps them out of trouble.

I agree Dr B. it is so much fun shooting your camera controlled rocket from a high altitude and see someone looking right into it when its coming down... That truly is a Kodak moment. Just before the explosion rips apart his body and lets him fly through the air.

And armor of course is fun also.
Most of the time i play as Support and sometimes as specops...
Had some nice points yesterday, but my comp went crazy.. so i hope i didnt lost them.

Anyone already found out how the point system works? Does it save at the moment you get them, or does it save it at the end of the map like in JO and DF?
But BF2 truly is a fun game..
