1. i try play the MP demo and it says
'virtual machine failure'
need need need help help help!!!
must play it!!!!


2. also i got the newest update for DFTFD 1.o.o.9 or something lol
and i try run it to update game it says 'can't edit/read dftfd.exe

please help me w/ these 2 questions (particually the 1st

1. What are your CPU specs?

2. Why would you need to update your game again, when you have the latest version know?

Don't you love it when people answer questions with questions lol

1. More importantly, which Operating system do you have? Try running the Windows Update option under the TOOLS section of your IE. That should sort the problem out. If it doesn't, do come tell us

2. Try updating the game using the UPDATE button.

i have win 98
i tryed UPDATING it, it worked but then when i click on a server to play on it never loads

im on a 2 week holiday and i cant play!!! NOOOOOO
and i can only play 2 a week normally for 4 hours, this is my only chance!!!!

I believe the Virtual Machine Failure is a Windows 98 Issue. You need to Update. That's the only viable solution.

Now did the Beta work that came out last month or so work?

Do one more thing, go to RUN and type DXDIAG. It'll show a dialog box for Directx and would run some stuff. Let it run. Once its done, hit SAVE ALL and select the desktop. Once its saved, file is usually called DX Summery or similar, attach it to your next post

Other than that there is always the reinstall of Windows.
