PSP or DS?

been thinking of getting a handheld system for a while, but havent decided what one to get. thought i'd get some outside input on this one

psp, has lots more features, including web-browsing, media players etc and it plays UMD movies which r surprisingly good quality

also without stepping in2 the illegal chat.. theres plently of cool mods u can put on them, but be warned u can brick it easily..

with the PSP or DS price tag it not a tool ether.
you really don't what to drop them at all.

i have a psp which is nice but i dont play it very often. i se alot of ppl that have used DS's and have said they are better than PSP's. i can't really comment as ive never tried a DS

DS is a cracking device. You can connect to the web using your wireless router to play games or surf the web (you need a cart for that though).

PSP looks nice too. Depends on what you want to play I reckon. The Movies thing is good for PSP but personally I think the Nintendo is a superior device although I would find it hard to prove that to someone using words.

I bought a PSP at launch and sold it last year for $100 to a friend. I didn't like it. My DS, however, always has Advance Wars in it. I'd go with the DS.

Well on the sales aspect DS wins. I have a PSP simply because I am not into the games on the DS.

I do have to say though the DS is a solid machine. It is more durable than the PSP, and has a larger game selection. The graphics won't be as good on the PSP (which again is mostly based on the game developer as there are some poor games on the PSP).

The DS will have a web browser for the Lite model that comes out in the states on June 5th. It is Opera based and will work the same as the PSP one piggy-backing on any unlocked wifi connection.

I was stuck on the choices because mario is always great, but my PSP has Mario on it so I'm happy.

Yeah rodney I still need mario for my psp haha. Ne ways my sis has a ds and i have a psp and i would choose a psp over ds any day. i use my psp every day if its to listen to music or surf the web or watch a movie on break at work. i have actually dropped my psp several times and it still works and nothing damaged. my sisters ds is all scratched up and graphics suck on it and i cant stand it at all.
