internet playing up

hi guys, for some reason.. my internet will only load a handful of sites up, no settings have been changed, ive done a spyware/virus scan on this PC, although the net is playing up on the other PC aswell, i checked the router and everything seems fine, i done a factory settings reset and filled it out again, still no luck

is this a router problem or more likely to be my exchange?

okee for me but i know a few ppl who have had probs with them in the past week. they are probably upgrading or something.

what i hate is that you can only check service status online, but if something is down, then you cant check it lol

best u can do is call them or ride it out for a couple of days to see if it fixes.

hopefully they are upgrading to offer super fast mofo connections ... free upgrade um.. lol

i think ill just see what happens, it seems to be fixing abit, i can get on msn, but not hotmail.. wierd

generally the inet has been bad for me during the past month.

iirc 24mb connections should be available all over the UK early 2006 nice

na i think 1.25 mb, which in comparison to down is ridiculous but much better than curent. maybe even possible to host a 1/2 decent gaming server!! omg!!11one

try connecting ur pc directly to the net, bypass the router to rule it out. also shut firewall of to test

got a slight problem, my PC is about 10 meters from the wall socket, so i cant try a direct connect

still not working, this is bollocks and if you phone BT they talk to u asif you are some stupid baby,, "have you checked the wires?" is your modem on? is your PC on? im not f**king stupid..

guess ill just wait it out

thinks been going crazy for me today only go to site for like 20min then the internet goes dead for some reason i have to reconnect to the internet it be for another 20min. data flow is acting up even going here same thing.

i don't get disconnect it. more like the internet goes dead no feed back from it at all, when going to any site it not there. i reconnect it normal for another 20min.

What Chief was talking about, it happened to me too as well to be honest, well once the whole computer thing was down and it was formatted and it went well, trying reinstalling your operating system.
Like Windows XP or Windows 98, such and such.
