3 questions(easy)
1> How do I make my building on solid ground when the map is hilly? Like I put the building down and half the building is in the air hanging off a cliff....
2> How do I make the stadium lights level on the ground(without the stadium peices). 3> What are the item names to some lights *for night time maps) Thanks |

i find hosting the map and moving items around in the map editor helps a lot to do this follow these steps: 1.) start the game up host that map 2.) startup the map editor open that map up. 3.) find that items thats need to be move. 4.) each time you move it save to .bms then 5.) (CMD Code) press ~ type in resetgames hit inter this will load up the new location of the item. when adding in new items you have to exit out of the host option restart the hosting other you get error of it like its not showing up to good to see.(CMD Code) Press ~ Type in exit then restart hosting it after that point same as above. thru step's 3-5 ps i find a builden hanging over a cl I put the building down and half the building is in the air hanging off a cliff.... i would ether add in walls to fix this or move it away from the cliff side or lower it down lower left in the map editor high lite the item 1st then click-lower left see Z up top use - add in - 1 thru 255 to lower it best -1 or -2 mostly will do the treak for you. 6.) Z (1st box) -1 or -2 (2nd box) 0-255 will raise it up higher in smaller parts. (-987654321 0 1234567890 No "+" only - or whole numbers) think it like this 1st box is in feet the 2nd box is in inchs As for this: 2> How do I make the stadium lights level on the ground(without the stadium peices). Step 6 should do it for you 3> What are the item names to some lights *for night time maps) Need Game Name so we know were to look it up remark: as you work on the map as you are hosting it so use this code press ~ type lockgame hit inter 1st time lock out all others from coming in to your map/server. 2nd time unlocks it all can come in. unlike other CMD Code this one stay on even you reload the maps or get out of hosting it then host it again last thing it will go off when ether you do it a 2nd time to unlock it or close the game down then it will be disable

This unique tool allows you to search for objects by keywords and allows you to view objects in the mission editer. A great map making helper!
