difficult to judge the value without the mobo and psu, but you could get one 7950 GX2 instead for a tiny bit more money and better performance, + you could add another at a later date.

the price is ok, but you'd be better off going for Core2 if you want to spend that much money IMHO.

i spent less money, only have one gfx card and get 12,500 3d marks for example.

but it's no shabby machine by any standards.

Its actually a package deal, not a make myself one, but for what i have at the moment, P4 1.6ghz, FX5200 128mb, 512 ram, will be a BIG improvement

it's not bad for a package deal, and it's not a bad computer at all. But i'm going to side with steve and say there are better options for less money.. IE, Core Duo 2

If you perfer AMD then it would be wise to get a socket AM2, as they will work with all AM2 sockets and the future AM3 Sockets.. You'll also get DDR2 memory which is becoming the new standard...

If all else fails ask them kindly to make that 4200+ a 4400+.. the extra 512mb cache is worth it IMO.

Um yea it is "DECENT" system but also above the average gamers pc.

I would suggest an

CPU- e6600 or higher
Ram- 2 Gig Corsair/Mushkin
VidCrd- 7900GT x 2 or GS you choose both are great

rest of it seems great.

Reason for e6600 or greater 4mb Cache
