sound help

hey guys was wondering if its possible to have the sound from Ventrilo to come through my headset, and the sound of BF2 to come through my onboard soundcard and off the front of my monitor..

i connected the speakers on my monitor up but all the sound goes as a default through my USB headset (has its own soundcard) the onboard speakers work because i dont a test where u hear the sound looping

i just cant figure it out

not familiar with ventrillo but with Teamspeak you can choose which driver (device), you want the software to use.

if there is not a simliar option in Vent. then you're probably screwed :/

i dont think you can, as in windows you select onboard or the card.....but thats with drivers installed.....hmmm im not really sure and now i too want to know the answer lol

there is an option in vent, but it still goes through the same path

yea i think when you install a sound card it overrides the onboard. But i know for sure 2 sound cards you can do it, as its done with shoutcasting and such. And yea been busy become a pro nerd, told ya one day i would make something of gaming now i get free parts and gear

i think both would come in as in-game play.

you need to hear others sneaking up on you as will as the party you are talking.

in some games there is a sound option you can turn down FX-Sounds like gun shots and so on. think this you only option you have. so you can hear all talking. use a key-broad key to press to talk in the microphone, so it don't be come active as you play the game.

me i set my Keypad [0-ins] key to press to talk to others with all the time.
