3 speakers not working ...

ok .. i went from a 2.1 speaker system to a 5.1 ...

first off the card is 5.1 compatiable i belive .. it's an audigy LS .. (when i bought the parts for this computer i wasn't really paying attention and thought i clicked on the audigy 2 7.1 ...)

here's an ss of the settings .. it's set to 5.1 .. :
http://3xtreem.com/Untitled-1.jpg

anyways ..... from the test from the ss i linked (the button that says noise) it plays noise from all of them .. but not the center or the sub ..

but the sub works fine .............

then theres a test you can do with just the speakers alone .. so on the little control pod it came with it cycles thru all the speakers and they all work .. so their all plugged in ......

ANYWAYS ...... even though the computer test shows all the speakers but the center and the sub don't work ... i go to play music or play a game and sound only comes out the front speakers

confused yet? lol ..but i'm sure as hell am ....

ahh

ok .. the system itself has it's own test thingy .. u can do it without the computer even turned on .. and all the speakers WORK .....

on the test thing on the computer.... all of them work but the center and the sub .. but the sub works ..

when i go to play music or play a game only the sub and the 2 front speakers work ....

hmm hard to troubleshoot over the forum :/

you know the stuff is not faulty because it self-tests ok.

try the connection util @ Creative to cehck u have the cables right: http://www.creative.com/products/spe...howto/?f=5&v=3

if that's ok at least u knos its the software config you need to alter.

Is your sound pushing the Speakers you may have to get a new card

or somewhere your Software is not Letting your 5.1 operate at 5.1

I would Try no speakers then restart pc then Plug in your 5.1 and it should be fine.

My Sound lol (Integrated Until i can get the X-FI sound i want.)

in speaker setup go to 5:1 surrond sound speakers
