i wonder why they do't just build everthing in the same spot so they don't need to ship it all there

Because the parts are built all over the world because the knowlage is where it is by the companies that build it, its a multi company project

Volvo (Through Rolls Royce), Saab, Rolls royce, Stork Aerospace, SKF, VSMPO-AVISMA, Patria Aerostructures, Alenia Aeronautica, ALCAN AEROSPACE, BAE SYSTEMS, BARNES AEROSPACE, CYTEC - ENGINEERED MATERIALS, DUNLOP AEROSPACE, ARIES ESTRUCTURAS AEROESPACIALES, S.A.

Those are just a few that i picked for the enourmous list of suppliers.

To build all these at one place and cordinate that is pretty much an imposibility or atleast it would be too expencive
