The new British invention (go Brits!)

http://www.soldiermagazine.co.uk/mag/kitstop.htm

Sounds great. It says that it'll decrease blast impact by up to 80%+! Anyone wanna tell what you think of it?

you know it take a real brainier to come up with that?

sorry not buying it at all.

its takes 10/100 of a sec to set it off and kill all near it, so they wait to the gang come by and try to remove the bomb using that item? with that water bomb proof united? i can see more lining up for the job

Its a good idea, but you'd have to be a maniac to get close enough to a bomb to put a kid's mini-pool around it. The bomb'd probably be motion-triggered, or the detonator will be watching.

Chief, they don't put the water wall in after a bomb's getting ready to explode lol. I'm sure they do it beforehand.

I'm not sure what the terrorists will do when they see it lol. Might probably think it's a childrens' playground!

remember.. lol, they do use robots to move bombs... so no1 is going to go and hav to pick it up with their hands lol

also some bombs use timers... so if they find it with 30mins left.. they can place it in that water-thing... but tbh i dont c it taking off especially in the UK.. our bomb defusal teams r the best in the world.. mainly thanks to N.I

besides, they can defuse the bomb at the scene and the water-thing will provide a safer method of transporting it to a location for a controlled detonation or study

you know there is a cheaper item to use.

take a outdated tank and wield it close with a opening in the rear engine area with a hatch to close it up, all it takes is a bomb drop into it close the door boom set it off, no waste of metal or life.

or even towe it over the bomb blow it from under it.

if it driveable if there a car bomb drive over the said car let it blow if it can and drive away after it gone off, that the said tank is remote control that is.

old outdated tank i have in mind is a M60A1

The Bombs they would use that for are large and need to be contained more. I think its a great idea. Wish I could get my hands on some.

Same here, only that I saw them do it to a car lol (or something else considerably light).

We threw some wood and stuff in the water and holded it with ropes.. Just a few little scratches (mainly because we didn't made a rack like in the Mythbusters)
But it works for as far we could see..
