AT 954 PM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS CENTERED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 8 MILES EAST OF LAKE CITY TO 8 MILES SOUTHEAST OF LIVE OAK...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 10 MPH. THIS CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO AFFECT AREAS AROUND FIVE POINTS... WINFIELD... WELLBORN... MCALPIN... WATERTOWN... LAKE CITY... LULU AND COLUMBIA THROUGH 1100 PM EDT. SMALL HAIL...GUSTY WINDS UP TO 50 MPH...AND DANGEROUS CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS ACTIVITY. PLEASE SEEK SHELTER IF IN THE PATH OF THIS LINE OF STORMS.

will we in northern Florida are having a wild fire going on, in my home town around 16:00 (4pm) its pitch black i live 8miles away its really smoky and black ash coming down near my home. can see like 250-300 meters only.

around 5pm i had to turn on the lights outside to see.

have 220 wildfires going on

areas:
Bradford country 15,546 acres-35% contained

Moccasin:
evacuations lifted
fire under control going out.
unknown amount acres burned

Baker country:
25,000 acres burning still.

...DENSE SMOKE CONTINUES TO DRIFT SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST FROM WILDFIRES...

ONGOING WILDFIRES WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE PLUMES OF SMOKE THAT WILL PUSH SOUTH SOUTHWEST. REPORTS OF VISIBILITIES AS LOW AS ONE QUARTER OF A MILE OR LESS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED DOWNWIND OF THESE FIRES.

AREAS LIKELY TO BE IMPACTED BY THIS IN SOUTHEAST GEORGIA INCLUDE NEEDMORE...FARGO...COUNCIL...MONIAC...AND AREAS NEAR U.S. 4 4 1.

WIDESPREAD REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN DENSE SMOKE WILL BE EXPERIENCED ACROSS INLAND NORTHEAST FLORIDA INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE CITIES OF SUWANNEE VALLEY...LAKE CITY...COLUMBIA...OBRIEN...HATCH BEND...AND TRENTON. STRONG AND GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS HAVE PUSHED THIS SMOKE AS FAR AS THE GULF COAST THIS AFTERNOON.

COUNTY OFFICIALS ARE REQUESTING THAT YOU PLEASE DO NOT CALL 9 1 1 TO REPORT A FIRE UNLESS YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE FLAMES.

PERSONS WHO HAVE RESPIRATORY AILMENTS THAT CAN BE TRIGGERED BY SMOKE SHOULD CONSIDER STAYING INDOORS. MOTORISTS SHOULD ALSO BE ALERT FOR SUDDEN CHANGES IN VISIBILITY.
