Red Orchestra has just received a major update, and we'll be celebrating next week with a free five day trial period for everyone to sample the full product and new content.

The update includes a new map along with several new gameplay additions. Dubbed Lyes Krovy (Russian for "Forest of Blood"), the new map features brutal close-quarters combat in a northern Russian forest, where the Axis entrenched its forces circa summer 1944.

The five day Red Orchestra free trial begins Wednesday, August 2nd. Be sure to mark your calendar and jump in for a few games next week.

more like the other way around....lol

We will have to post a server to go into when its installed, I was just playing Day Of Defeat Source, I thought steam would keep downloading as I played but it auto paused...lol so back with downloading and installing now.

Have you got 1gb memory?

When I had 512mb mine was ok with HL2 and the rest of source, But with 1GB memory I find I have a few crashes now and again?

But No worries with Red Orchestra because it uses UT2004 engine not HL2 Engine...

could be part of the problem, It must be making memory calls for already used memory or something with 1GB.

I havent had a crash though for a while on Source, But knowing me I have spoken too soon like many other times..lol

yes m8, As soon as its downloaded, I have a 10meg conection and Im still downloading at 44kb/s im at 80% so I should have it installed soon...lol

Yes I have had a few goes but its not something I would buy, It just still feels like a mod, not a stand alone game.

Its good But its like AA sent back to WW2 but AA would win hands down.
