sims 2 wont start

it worked fine earlier, then whenever i went to start it up i get this appearing..



and yes i hav the proper retail version, i hav no software thats an emulation tool (i think) ive looked in task manager but cant find anything running, even after a reboot and reinstall error still happens.

any ideas?

fixed it .. was program called CloneCD

there are certain tools to disable the emulation check that some games like Sims run so u dont have to uninstall. (did you have to uninstall CloneCD?) this is a real dirty trick by games companies IMHO, why should someone uninstall a legal piece of software just to play that game.

i had the same trouble with another game, i can't think of the name, but i have a Cd-writer they told me to remove the Cd-writer totally then i can play the game?? i return the game to the store told them it will not instill. it was a EA.Game spy type game cover green/black in color with one guy have a set night vision classes on.

Anti-Blaxx should stop the check for emulation equipped software.

i had it installed but i have no game that runs the check instlled yet, so i cant say if it works properly.
