Fiji, Window Vista's successor

Microsoft has a code name for the next version of Windows. But what is the planned delivery date for the product, as well as its successor, 'Vienna'? No one's talking, but plenty are speculating.

"I don't think it matters so much what we call public test releases, what matters is that, one, they create a reasonable amount of work, balancing compelling with achievable, and, two, they stick to that unit of work and manage feature creep."

Steve what do she means by "manage feature creep"

So

longhorn windows servers is coming out in late 2007.

Vista Windows OS (serials) is coming maybe in oct 06 or feb-07

Windows "Fiji" after some time Windows Vista comes out. (Vista R2)

man thats a lot coming out. i only hope i get the full package deal and not some chop-up version.

i think ive heard of one of those... arent they called... oh i dont know, expansion packs?

it better be cheap if they are just adding feature but no doing it by updates
