dfx and punkbuster

I see a download to add Punkbuster to DFX. Does it work and do the players joining the server have to have it installed as well?

Punkbuster Thing

That program is used to bust trainers and cheats and all.
I am not sure if other players need it but to only find out you should try joining a server yourself on DFX.

i hate to boost your bobble but this one item is a fake, EvenBalance has no support for this game and some one has hack their item from JOTR and added to DF: Xtreme, it was made for a older version of DF:Xtreme and it now been updated and this so call PB tool do not work at all.

EvenBalace and Puckbuster both have said do not trust it or instill it don't matter what others have said, they have no hand in this or support DF: Xtreme.

do not use this item if you get banned for it your own fault not theirs, and Novaworld and Novalogic do not support this item ether do to it a pirated item. EvenBalance (PB) service is a paid service and not for free to add-in their software item to games that are not paid for.

basic i would stay clear of that item totally, it break so many rules i can't say

I am just curious why Novahq would allow this download to be available in the DFX utilities...I see a couple hundred people have downloaded it...Thanks for the replies

it was a good ID but like most thing, there no back ground check on item if they are the real deal or not in this case DF:X is not from evenbalance or novalogic, inc at all it a 3rd party who hack the codes in this item and adapt it to the game.

seem anything to fight cheaters with a anti-cheat patch or tool people will jump for it.

by the way EvenBalance is not happy about this item at all.

there are good things in life and there are bad things in life who are we to judge what is real? or not?
